Hi there,

What always bothered me a bit was that if you click to a specific module site of your ship and install/deinstall/repair or sell the module, you get directed back to site 1. From my personal experience I think it is more useful if that site where you were previously browsing and changing the status of a module would stay active.

The rest is just awesome work ;)

That has been suggested many times and i think it is going to be implemented,not sure when tho.

all that needs to be done to the code is append javascript:void(0) to class="[whatever]button" in the MySQL DB the game runs from - that I am assuming - and it would fix that issue

i see you're assuming there....

here's what happens when you perform an action in one of the main pages in the game... the entire section between the nav bar and the chatbox is reloaded... that's why you're sent back to page 1

Sorry if I've double posted that then. I searched the going to be implemented thread and didn't find it there. Maybe to also track things that are out of scope could also be listed there

I have some good news and bad news for you.

The good news:

I had a set of emails back and forth with Dan, and he's said he's going to work to implement a design change for this I suggested months ago where the Usable artifacts pop-outs, and the ship modules will have the same search-term area that the current trading page does.

This would basically allow you to, say, type "Relay" and only see a list of the relays and make all your changes there without it refreshing the list beyond those modules, or type "Install" or "uninstall" or "repair" or "fair" or "energy" or "Weapon" or "attack" etc. etc. etc. =)

He suggested that it be a setting a user can change in their user settings too once implemented, if someone actually preferred the old style of organization for this stuff instead.


The Bad news:

I don't know when this will be along though because we talked about this in November. lol...
