Hey Dan why can't you target friends ships who send you stuff any more? It would be nice to be able to do that so you can see their ship and rank and even lets you send them a message quicker when you get something from them. Besides not everyone who sends you stuff is on your friend list some are allies that sent you something. Please let us target ships that send stuff to you again. Thanks. |

So it could be a certain amount (111 dynite for example) that allows you to attack the other person. P.S. Yes we want to use it to intentionally allow the other person to attack. |

Trading needs a major over-haul, it's no secret. From some things Dan said I'm hoping there is a major major update around the corner to the UI and interactions between players.. -Q |

Dan needs to put it back how it originally was. People use this to hit friends to compare, and to hit traders that have scammed you. |

ANd sometimes you want to have a friendly duel, no nasty intent just seeing how your ships compare |

Yes others where using it for attacks but that is the only way some low ranks can fight high ranks if they want to I do like this idea: pwnbus wrote: So it could be a certain amount (111 dynite for example) that allows you to attack the other person. . That would make it better as well because then you couldn't just attack any poor guy who sent you something but it would be something planed. |

There are several legitimate reasons for wanting to allow friends or allies to attack that I can see: Testing your ship's attack/defense, cloak resistance, ability to scan another player's modules, to duel to prove who has a stronger ship, or to allow you to settle some sort of conflict through several rounds of fighting. There are probably other good ones as well. It would seem the potential for abuse would be limited, as debuffing the other player with a calming net is no longer possible, so I don't think there's a lot of chance for abuse, setting off their halycon will only be a detriment to them because they would be better off having that done by a 'real' attacker. I suggest you create a separate topic specifically asking for a way to invite a friend ally to attack you on some sort of limited-time basis. -Q |

Or add a button in the "Settings" section that allows others to target you via trade. |

i like Q's idea... have a feature where you can send any specific player (by user ID or on your FB friends list or even a legionmate) an invite to target you for 2 days.... would have to add in extra coding there to basically be able to attack a legionmate via attack invites, but it's do-able heck, that'd be fun!!! it'd be like... taunting someone |
