With everyone these days trading planets, why not have a new profession (trader) where they don't have timer for alerting planets/base combat etc when they join a new legion |

-1. The whole purpose of the timers are to prevent people from base jumping selling off planets/sabotaging enemy legions planets. Just like if anyone plays WoW, the mail has a 1 hour timer for everything but sending mail to yourself. The whole reason of that is to slow down hackers from mailing off all your goods before they shut down the account. This same concept can be applied here only instead of hackers it is people looking to do massive harm by selling off target legions and it would really hurt the game imo. |
