It would be great if somewhere on one of the screens (maybe the planetary actions screen), it gave you the last time you flux probed the planet, the results and the last time you fluxed your planet.

? Abandon Confirm?

? Last Flux Probe: Date Results
? Last Planetary Flux: Date

This would help us keep track when we last checked for detection and what the results are.

So I got a planet from share so after a flux probe on 8/15 it would say:
? Last Flux Probe: 8/15/2010 1 other ship(s) have scanned this planet
? Last Planetary Flux: Never

And after a flux probe on 9/15 it might say:
? Last Flux Probe: 9/15/2010 12 other ship(s) have scanned this planet
? Last Planetary Flux: Never

If I cared, I would flux the planet (resetting the last flux probe date since we know no one has scanned it) and it would say:
And after a flux probe on 9/15 it would say:
? Last Flux Probe: 9/15/2010 0 other ship(s) have scanned this planet
? Last Planetary Flux: 9/15/2010

I kind of like this idea because I think I have fluxed a world a few times in the same day before. lol

+1 to all of these. Anything that makes the game easier for us the better. It makes the game more enjoyable.

I'd like to also see an option to probe all planets above a set amount that you want.

Example : Check on all planets at or above 15x's .

This would take a lot of time off our hands as well

That would be nice to flux probe all planets, would keep a lot of us from loosing a few of the better ones we want to hang onto but have forgotten to check back, and use up all the flux probes we have since they are so easy to get.

Going with this and the original idea it would also be nice in the planetary list to show how many people have scanned the planet from the last time the flux probe was used. It would mean another column of data or it could be under a new thing like the flags are and not show all the data about the mining etc.

Only problem being is that we'd have to have the flux probes to do the 20 planet probe lets say.
I guess it would tell us that we don't have enough probes to do this action like it does other things.

We all have different things to do in our lives and we all can't live in this game so it's important to make things easier and faster to do in situations like this so we can go do important things in our lives too.
This game is a social thing as well as a fun thing .. at times so Dan can we get something like this done in the near future ?

only problem with probing 20 planets is how its going to display the info.. unless you just want it to go about its work and you then go check XX number of planet pages.. which would still be easier then the way it is now.

Actually got to thinking that it could be displayed right on the players' planet page. Either the Control you could be moved over or else that could be gotten rid of, since you know that when you click the button for your planets they are yours.

Right next to scan new planets would be a nice place to put the "Flux Probe All Planets" Button. Like the Battle Tab buttons for Bosses and Elites it could only show up when you look at only your planets.

Scan For New Planets Flux Probe All Planets

When you click the button it will pop up a message saying:

"Do you want to use 'X' Flux Probes on your planets?" YES NO

If you have X flux probes and click yes it does it, if not it will not work so that there is no grey area where someone can say that they wanted a certain planet scanned instead of another one or the likes of that.

The Planet display on the player's planet screen would be able to order the planets by how many people have scanned them as returned by the last time they were flux probed. The display would work the same if someone used the flux probe all planets button or if they went and just flux probed a few planets they really wanted to flux probe. Also if someone used a planet flux (GP or the repeatable mission one) on a planet it would set the scanned amount back to zero as well.

Planet Name--------------Type--------------Size-------------Best Resource---------Control---------Scanned
Star----------------------Gas-------------Very Massive------Research: Very Rich----You---------------5
Heat-------------------Volcanic-----------Very Large----------Mining: Average-------You--------------3
Stone------------------Barren-------------Large---------------Mining: Average-------You--------------3
Water------------------Ocean-------------Small----------------Artifact: Rich----------You---------------1
Purple------------------Exotic-------------Very Massive--------Mining: 15x------------You-------------0
