Something needs, IMO, to be done about Topolopis Rings. No other End Tech sucks this much. 6 Space for 1000 Population... and it costs 1.9 million research. I've got no ideas, but the only way I'm going to waste that much research on such as sizehog is if there's another level of production after the +18s. |

1000 population isn't good? Hmmm, when you have a planet with 30k defense and attack, it's pretty nice and 6 size isn't bad. I'm more curious about your +18s ... you mean +12s? ![]() |

Yes, that's what I mean. I flipped the Size and Production in my head. And I'm not saying 1000 Population is bad. I'm just saying that it's not worth 1.9 million research. In fact, the entire Population line is largely over-priced. Now, if population produced taxes, even at the rate of 1 to 1 credit an hour, I'd consider it. |

1.9mil credits an hour? ... that's not much at all. That's scrap money. The research amount is not overpriced. When you put it in line with every other research tree, it's exactly where they are an approximately the same point. And when you consider how far 1000 population can go, it's not too much to ask for when you only have to do it once ... |

1000 population means a minimum of 50 hits to lower the population - 250 energy. That's if you have 0 defence aswell, as the damage cap is 20. It's planet cloak that needs something doing imo. |

topo rings a few lil other poparts pop + 50%:D well over 5k pop 20k atk and over 30k def not to bad. and thats before the xecti bonus to. set some thing up like this and most people cant take it . And for the few that can it will be a massive head ache. topo rings are grate. even better with 2 or more and 50% pop increase. |

i for one will never use a topolois ring on a planet that i'm not stone walling, consider the amount of space it will take in total to make it efficent(suffcient def to make use of the population), u might as well been better off with a cloak build. with that said, i don't think the production this would take up should be even considered and one should only look at the effect of the ring from a stone wall prospective. and for that, 1k(or 2250 with longive and astro) for each 6 space is good enough. |
