Acid trap: 2% hull damage each minute for 4 minutes. CANT USE NULL FUSE

So from the start 2% then once the four minutes rolls around total of 10% all together taken. On a ship with 10,000 hull they would have taken 1000 damage. so not as powerful as thetacron but not super weak and it adjusts for the lvls. plus u can have both theta and acid trap on and omicron if ya want.

Question though is would it be to powerful if its going by ur max hull and effects stack; or max hull no stacking; or by what hull ur currently at (which then the trap would never be able to kill you)

Cuz i remember the low lvl days were omicrons were amazing... now i dont bother to put em on.

i dunno man... 10% isnt alot... the reason omicrons were good at low ranks was because it was a 1 shot kill if you tripped it... lycan is right. gemini cannons are like the damage traps for higher ranks (considering they do 10% with their ability is triggered). i've heard other interesting ideas too from way back when there was a push for more traps when nulls were first introduced. but... it takes me less than a minute to disable someone offline. this trap will not help at all, nor will it protect me. so, -1 for this.

love it if you can use it on NPCs

Thetacron Missle:
cost 10 red badges,
target takes 2500 damage
again, love it if you can use it on npcs

Kyronite Trap:
cost 5 red badges,
attacking ship looses all shields
this would be cool... a bit of a pain, but not too overpowered.

Containment Trap:
cost 5 red badges,
attacking ship looses all buffs
haha, i would dread hitting this if i saw a weak target during an npc run. :P still, good idea. could see alot of potential in wars.

Halcyon Missle:
cost 5 red badges,
target cannot take offensive actions for 12 hours
gotta say no to this one. it was called an omicron net. and it was removed from the game because they were so easily exploitable. haha, theres still a few hundred thousand out there, but theyre not tradeable, and i dont even know if theyre still useable. but its an uber rare artifact from an older time that players like to have in their cargo museum. anyway, no sense in bringing back a discontinued artifact.
