I'm not sure if this can even be implemented, but i was thinking about having a chat feature on these forums, like on the top bar next to "User Control Panel" and all of those buttons.

Now how it would work is up to the staff. People should be able to be kicked off, maybe have a profanity filter (optional?), be able to create different sub-rooms. Every room should be displayed somewhere with the number of people in the said room shown in parentheses.

I like the idea behind it to provide faster question answering or better interaction between legions. however facebook has group pages that you can create that allows you to sit in a chat and invite who ever it is you want to this chat. You can kick and set it to be invite only to these pages. There are probably hundreds of Galaxy Legion group pages between all the legions, trade groups, secrete co-op task forces and the likes. I agree in a non sarcastic manner that adding that here for a public usage will add more to the flaming. Many gaming teams in general set up their own websites and have their own ventrillo/IRC/Team speak and now even use skype. Since facebook gives us the option to make our own free "website" by creating a group, You can use the group chat for your business. If you do not have a network of people ask around for one of the galaxy pub chat groups or a trade group page. At one point, I was a member of 20 group pages for this game and since then deleted most but roughly 4 of them.

I run a Forum, There is usually a chat enable-ability, but it is only 1 Box, above every page, and with this many, would be REALLY Inefficient for any sort of use other than Spamming.
