With the addition of the Continuum beacon i think the Stryll Seeker should be adjusted from a 10% boost to a 20% boost, considering the Continuum beacon is a 15% boost, and can be gained from artifact drops, and the Stryll Seeker is an NPC drop.

I wouldn't mind that, but they can justify keeping it the way it is.

how so? if anything they should flip the values. The continuum beacon is easy to get, at least with the stryll seeker you have to kill someone for it. artifact point drops should ALWAYS be worse than NPC drops.

It's not like it's a difficult NPC, and it's still a bonus (you can have both on at once) so it is still an improvement, it's not as though one would replace the other.

I'd rather have the Stryll Seeker, Stryll Trap, Shadin Algorithm etc. turnable for tech parts. If anything I'm getting way too many. And the instances in which you could/should/would use them are very limited. Same for Eruption Channeler and Gas Igniter Rod. Too many rare/uncommon spawns with such awful drops.

to FerrusManus, i honestly did not know that, as almost every other artifact in this game is not a stackable effect, so i would say ur right. but DMDMDM has a GREAT idea! i get a crappy stryll ship in my NPC slot at least twice a week, and never kill em cause i dont need a trap probe, and dont want to waste my cargo space. if they were scrappable for tech parts, that would DEFINITLY incite me to go after em.

That not what I meant, I meant that you can have it in addition to the other stuff, so it's still an easy-to-get bonus.

ah. well, then i vote the two effects be stackable, or the stryll seeker be changed to be better than the continuum beacon.

Okay, now I'm confused about what I thought you were saying. You can have a Stryll Seeker and a Continuum Beacon on at the same time, but not multiple Stryll Seekers. You can also have things like Subspace Seekers on at the same time, which is usually what you do toward the end of a scan blitz: equip all these artifacts.

ah. thats what i thought u ment. u CAN have a stryll seeker and continuum beacon at the same time, but you CANNOT have an ancient crystal foci AND a crimson oblesk on. i thought you had to choose between either a stryll seeker OR a continuum beacon. anyway... you were right and i was wrong. lol.

You can have a Crystal Focus and Crimson Obelisk on at the same time, you can have anything on at the same time, just not more than one of the same thing.
