To improve the disguise, why not have it so you can from a section of dark smuggler ship images (From the NPCs - Probably just the high ranked and matched ones). For two reasons: I like some of the Dark smuggler ships more that others, Two, so players will be less likely to think you are in discuses, as currently the Dark smuggler disguise only uses one picture (A.k.a Makes it more discussing)

since there is no dark smuggler class they are gonna know its a disguise anyway.....

theyre gonna know youre in disguise either way. King Juggernaut suggested a while back that we be allowed to choose a ship avatar to mask our race and profession, ie if youre an inergon builder, you can change your avatar to a lazuli ship to show youre a lazuli fixer, or a konqul raider. etc. makes you look more menacing. The first step in this evolution was the release of the octafari holodisguise. After that was released, the Dark Smuggler Chassis was released. After the release, i have seen a number of suggestions, ranging from masking yourself as an NPC, basically any NPC youve killed, which went all the way back to zophahs special module suggestions, to custom ship avatars submitted by players.

But anyway, if you truly want to be disguised, you need to mask yourself as a player ship, as Juggernaut suggested. But if youre leaning more towards the aesthetic side, then either the custom avatar or the npc avatar would work...

anyway, for variation to the Dark Smuggler Chassis, +1. to having it restricted to JUST dark smuggler commons, then -1 for that part. Dark smugglers are... ok. they dont really stand out to me one way or another. but maybe thats because they all look the same.

No disguise matters when all anyone has to do is click on your legion link and see what you are. Fix that and you have a real disguise.
