Hello, Level 8 base is the only base that have wasted standard space. Max modules available for level 8 is 148/160.. We have 12 free standard space unable to fill.. It would be nice to add some new standard modules for any bases to enjoy and, at the same time, we finally have reason to max out 160 space.. Also, since we would be stuck with level 8 for LONG time maybe a year. We would love to have new upgraded pictures made just for level 8. It would be welcome for you to add set of pictures for level 6, 7 and 8... We have level 5 base picture and would love to have level 8 to use same level 5 model but upgraded version instead of entirely new pictures different from level 5 models.. Thanks.. |

If we are finally running out of standard space, i would think that its finally time to introduce base cloak. Can only be used on bases level 6+. With the introduction of cloak, must also come the introduction of base scan. Base scan would be what counteracts cloak in bases. So, finding cloaked bases would depend on how much scan your base has, much like it works with the bt. just a thought. i figured it would be a bit more interesting than just expanding the number of hull/shield/attack/defense modules you can get. |

considering how u r short on special still while having too much standard.... Tactical Platform: req: base lvl 8 Size: 3 standard Effect: +2 special space. Note: you may not demolish a Tactical Platform if there is less than 2 free special spaces. Limit 4 platforms. And there can be an upgrade version of this for lv 9 base and so on so all space is always used up(for example, strategic platform 8 standard +5 special req lv9) at least until some new stuff(like perhaps base scan/cloak) is added.... that might very well be the solution.... And if anyone think this is OP, the space given from effect can always be reduced to +1, but I think lv 8 base that maxed out its standard space kinda deserve this... Another solution is to have giant rank 800-9999 NPCs Stellar Fortress that drops base chassis that can build something on the base, like Steller Bunk standard size 5 hull+40000. should be hard to kill, but only drop 1 item(thou shareable NPC, the drop is only useful for base anyway) |

If by that you mean retroactively LOWER the limit on 6's and 7's... Way bad idea. These things are supposed to be HARD to take down. We manage to do it 3x a day because we forged a STRONG alliance. By weakening those bases so that weaker groups can start disabling them, you not only devalue the work that a legion has done to build their base, but you also devalue the reward. People #$&*@ and moan because we keep dropping bases within minutes. You want it to be even EASIER for us? If by that you mean increasing the limits starting from level 8.... Pretty sure that's what Bluecifer said in the quote within your quote. |

No Darth, he meant RAISE the limits, not lower them. Hence, making them harder to kill w/ more attack, hull etc. |

Something like lower the limit on 5s by 1, keep it as it is for 6s, raise by 1 for 7s, raise by 2 for 8s, or something similar. |

How about a simplified base cloak module? Max of 10 Base Cloaks installed. Helical Cloaking Device - Space 2 - Reduces chance your base will be found on a scan by 1% - Requires Advanced Logistics Double Helical Cloaking Device - Space 2 - Reduces chance your base will be found on a scan by 2% - Requires Sub-Quantum Logistics Trinal Cloaking Device - Space 2 - Reduces chance your base will be found on a scan by 3% - Requires Hyper-Logistics The concept is simple, add a check when scanning for a base - if a base is found, and it has cloak, see if the cloak works. If it does, alert the player that a cloaked base evaded detection. If it does not, then let them lock the base. |
