A GP ship module that donates a percentage of all energy used in base battles to the legion upgrade e.g
80GP energy syphoner [ Special Device - Size:40, Base Energy 5%] Installs a energy syphoner on your ship. 5% of all the energy spent during base battles will be donated to upgrading your base level (Limit 1 per ship) Minimum level 100 Cost to install: Energy 50
Upgraded version 150GP Hyper energy syphoner [ Special Device - Size:10, Base Energy 20%] Installs a hyper energy syphoner on your ship. 20% of all the energy spent during base battles will be donated to upgrading your base level (Limit 1 per ship) Minimum level 500 Cost to install: 400 Silver badges Energy 50
Donated energy doesn't come from directly from you the game just places the % amount into the base once the enemy base has been disabled.
This could be a good way of higher level bases to work more independently to maximise the benefits to there own legion whilst at the same time making them choose a balance between strengthening the own base with exo clamps or saving for this item.
Would encourage more members to fight for the higher positions during the battles and allow all players to contribute towards upgrades even without the top base tech researched

i like it! i dont think it should count towards your percentage donated though. just decrease the energy required for next level.

-1, provisionally.
Would the 5%/20% be ONLY from each ship which has the module AND attacked? or 5%/20% of all energy dumped into the base fight, with only 1 person needing the module?
(if it's obvious, then clearly I need more caffeine now)

(if it's obvious, then clearly I need more caffeine now) Each person that had the module installed and attacked the base

This is a good idea I like it would be nice if it counted to % but could scroll over and see amount from base fights

I'm assuming we would round off all decimal places so that, with the lower grade module, we wouldn't be donating portions of an energy point. Also would it require the same minimum of 10 points before it would go into effect? I ask only due to those lovely null 3's or the single ship legions where you basically get 1 hit if you are actually trying to share with your legion.
