 base power

Why does the base not have a power core of it's own? You can do a research item to build one. Why does it not have cloaking either. A few more mods needed. to make the base ultimate. Know how you spin it the base needs it's own power core whether it is for upgrades or anything else you still need a power core

That energy isn't going to power the base , if it was energy would be part of it's upkeep , it's powering the construction equipment to build it.

I feel cloak would be a bad thing to add to bases. Considering the power level of the modules for def, att, hull and shields cloak would easily make bases harder to spot than invincible planets. The only solution to that problem is adding scan modules which further stretch the amount of space available leading to everyone's favorite game of revolving modules as there is currently only 1 base in the entire game that would even have a chance of keeping all of the modules on at any one time.
