Post subject:  Trellith Comm Relay (not eligible for recovery)
so I steal a planet with Trellith Comm Relay

but when i use the extractor it tells me.

It gave you a Recover button though and you got the red fail-box when you clicked it?

I'm really wondering why Dan is not allowing recovery of this item, other mission items are recoverable including the % cloak buildings.

the new upgrade is the same, maybe be the new race ability or something.

That's because the new upgrade is entirely different from previous upgrades, because it upgrades a structure that doesn't come from an artifact, and the Extractor checks for special structures. Hopefully this will be modified, but I wouldn't count on it.

Not all that different. We already have Tri-Phases (upgrade of phase cutters), Hypergates (upgrade of Warpgates) and Sha'jha Uplinks (upgrade of spy uplinks), all of which can be extracted easily and without a problem.

Yes, I use quotes to show what I'm responding to, I have no idea why the Trellith Relay is ineligible. Were it not for Remric's quote from Dan, I would've assumed he simply forgot to make it extractable and fix it. I had assumed the quote and what I said would make it clear, but I will try to be significantly more explicit in the future, to keep it simpler.
