Post subject:  Planet Artifacts un-addable - indicate on list of them?

If I'd like to add artifacts to my planets FAST, I'd like to be able to discern whether I can still add them without having to flip back & forth between the manifest of structures and the artifact structures I have.

So a simple tweak here is to say, for structures I can add up to two of, "2/2 installed on planet" in red text if I already have 2. If "1/2 installed on planet," it would be in yellow, and 0/2 would be in green.

(As goes without saying, for structures I can add one of, "1/1 installed on planet" would be said in red, 0/1 would be said in green.)

(Also, I would recommend that the "Build" button be grayed out for the purposes of indicating even quicker that the allotted amount of that structure is already built.)

These new suggestions would save seconds for each artifact structure we attempt to install on a planet, but these seconds add up for each of us, and for all, over time.

or make it like using artefacts on enemy players, under actions they have "use enemy artefacts" and "use other artefacts", so maybe a planet version of this like "use planet effects" (i.e. time vortex, flux probe etc) and "use planet building" or something similar for things like the relay tower and phase cutter. we do have a "use other artefacts" button on planets to use things that effect our ships so maybe that could get swapped for a different option.

but i like the "1/1 installed on planet" thing :)

This would be a handy addition to the game, especially if you've built one of an artifact building on a planet, left the planet, then returned later. I would also like it if you have already built the maximum number of a module building on a planet, the build button should either be greyed out for that building, or even better the artifact building simply wouldn't show up in the list.

Something like this mock-up would do great! (Maybe if it's an artifact the planet already has one of, and can have one more, the text would be yellow though?) Besides needing for the colors to correspond with how many are already built, what the image shows (and the grayed-out build button) is perfectly what we need!

Psst: It says this Disseminator can be built 2 to a planet, not 1. I would've used another artifact or changed the "2" to a 1 on your photoshop, but it still does the best at getting the overall point across.)

I wouldn't mind seeing this. Only drawback I can think of at the moment would be slower loading when you open a planet screen or when you open the Use Artifact sub-screen. One or the other would probably end up lagging while the server cross-checks the structure list vs your artifact inventory. As things stand now, it doesn't do that check until you actually click Use on a particular artifact. That potential lag could be devastating if you catch someone in the process of attacking a planet and you're trying to do traps and clones. +0.5, eliminate the possibility of lag then its a definite +1.

It'd be easier still if it Didn't display AT ALL artifacts that can't be used.

So no gas igniter rods visible to use on any non-gas planet, etc.
Same goes for artis that you'v got enough of already.

Didn't think of this before (Haven't seen a gas ignition rod yet; apparently level 208s can't take a mission that gets you one) but +1 on this for sure.

How are the devs on this suggestion so far? Should be easy to code.

(If it helps them at all, I've been a faithful payer; recently I bought gift-cards to restaurants for GPs.)

Tell me, how much effort is this for the devs to code? Surely this couldn't be too much to ask; it feels less code-intensive than the Medals were.
