 New trap idea

Just something random I thought of that might be interesting. A flux probe type of a planet trap. Instead of attackers setting it off, it being scanned sets it off. It would have to be a high point value artifact to keep the probe a usefull item, but I could see this being a very sought after artifact if it wouldn't be considered too over the top.

It would be very interseting if the trap points out the player who scanned your planet, giving a whole new range of players to do PVP with.

i do like the idea of this trap. but should be somewhat rare. i disagree that it should provide the name and link to the ship tho. finding a planet is not the same as trying to invade.

So wanted that probe trap until Hunter made such a compelling counterpoint!

Perhaps a probe trap for a planet you discovered and were thinking of colonizing but not ready or able to yet?

Once found I snapped them up or purged them in disgust so quickly...was there such a thing already?

I hadn't expected it to link the ship. Just an advanced preliminary defense. Like if I had one on my exotic and one day the trap triggered, I know to get to defending!
