Post subject:  New Research Chain: Races

I was reading through the race specific research trees suggestion and I had an idea.

What if we added new tech trees for researching each individual race for defensive or offensive purposes. For example, you could research the Konqul race to unlock mods for defensive capabilities against Konqul only. And, the same for all the other races.

The way I think of it is this:

Konqul - Research to aid defensive countermeasures against Konqul attack by studying Konqul training and warfare.
Aerlen - Research to aid offensive capabilities against Aerlen defense initiatives by studying and searching for flaws and weaknesses.
Zolazin - Research to aid in added offensive power by negating their cloaking measures (increases scan to help aid in critical hits).

Etc, etc. I haven't nutted this out perfectly per se, but I wanted to get people's thoughts and ideas about whether this would be worthwhile?

Also, so this is not overpowered, you could only have a certain amount of these modules installed, meaning you cannot install all of them to have racial countermeasures for all the races installed at the same time.

Thoughts, opinions, additions?

So basically take away the diversity inherent in different races having different "skills" ?

we need more diversity not less
