Can we please have a wider range of character support on the ship comms? If I want to post something like:

, which then looks rude... :/ Other things aren't this extreme but it's a bit of a pain...

Just things like hyphons. That kind of thing.

So... everyone just wants standard symbols used on an English keyboard. no Alt codes are really necessary.
