My Cargo Runneth Over Successfully perform 5000 raids against other ships. Reward 1449 / 5000
Why is it that The Black Hat requires 2600 hacks, but My Cargo Runneth Over requires an overwhelming 5000 raids? It's a lot easier to rack up hacks than raids, because most of the time you have to kill a ship before raiding it. Hacking takes a mere 5 energy, sometimes a flare or two, and some tm's if you want to do more than one in 15 minutes. It would make a lot more since for it to be the other way around. I say it should be only 2600 raids.

I imagine some players will multiraid others working toward this medal. Before medals came out, I multiraided players on my bt to make it to the leaderboard. Then I did it to stay on the leaderboard. Now I do it to move up the leaderboard and to work toward the medal. While I had a 80% raiding bonus, I also multiraided players on my news feed, both lower ranks and higher ranks. Lower the raids required, and there won't be as much multiraiding.
Or would lowering the raids required INCREASE the amount of multiraiding? 5000 is very hefty, and I imagine many players aren't even attempting to reach that. A more achievable number would have more players shooting for it.

If you raid/hack a ship with no RP/MP/AP it only takes 5 minutes to run the timer, that should make things quicker

5000 raids is a good milestone considered there is the Pirate level before that.

I guess if you compare 1000 raids to 2600 hacks, those medals are reasonable. Considering that there's a medal requiring 8000 hacks, I'd say 5000 raids is reasonable. It's still a lot, though. It'll be a long time, but I'll eventually get there.

Senary-frame upgrades (a big rip-off, but I still want them), counter-intelligence nexi (I have difficulty deciding where to place them, but I manage to place one somewhere every once in a while), dispatch centers (crappy, but ...), and dispatch station upgrades (actually a decent structure).-
