Using ancient maps we have located the sector of space our ancestors stored technology they did not fully comprehend, go and retrieve what you can from there so that we can study it.

Galactic Horror
(Deformed mechanical beast)--couldn't think of a better name :roll:

Rewards Up to 20
Abilities Matter vaporizer---lowers the players defence by 50% for 15 minutes
Matter Terraformer---Sabotages the players cargo...cannot use artifacts for 15 minutes.(low chance)

Attack 10,000
Defense 10,000

This enemy will expire in: 2 hours
Repeatable once every 8 hours

Shields recharge at 10k per 5 minutes :twisted:

Boss rewards 1 of 20 possible rewards
( as it is a repeatable mission and would take a long time for players to get what they want from it)

(I'll let others think of the rewards )


So Modules, Planet structures, Enemy pvp artifacts... etc etc

You can get a TON more with exo-clamps, plus some shield and you can get one of those from being in the top five of a level 2!

Ancient star charts - Unlocks a mission which leads to Junkyard worlds.

Junkyard worlds are random - they have a fixed amount of "production points", which can be randomly re-allocated ("Recycled" once a week for an energy cost. (eg 30 points. This could give VSparse Mining, VSparse Artifact, 16X Mega Research, or Ex rich everything. it'd be random each "recycle". Always Massive.

Thats a pretty good idea, the mission with a 5% chance to unlock the follow up mission in the chain :) that would keep players going for a while

Or even you need the ancient star charts to start one round of the mission - each time you get it, you eventually get another junkyard world. Stops the reward from being redundant.

Deformed mechanical beast eh?

In that case:

Artifact:
Deformation Serum
Converts 10 of each type of your crew into random types of crew.
(so -10 scientist, -10 engineer, -10 tactic and -10 helmsman, and +40 random crews, kinda like the junk world random roll)
If used while having less than the maximal amount, a smaller number is rolled(for example, if only have 5 tactics, then -10 all except -5 tactic, then +35 random)

Horror Swarm
Grants 15 minutes of non-removable debuff immunity and 3 hours of immunity against all except CM.

Scrap Core
80% chance to +200 energy
20% chance to explode and cause massive damage to ship. If ship is disabled by this effect, -300 energy. If there is insufficent energy, energy recharge reduced to 0 for 5 hours. Cannot use while disabled
Massive damage=MIN(100000, 99%*(Maxhull+Maxshield), rand(1000, 10000+10%*(Maxhull+Maxshield)))

Basically: if ur ship is fully repaired and shield fully recharged, there is no risk of losing energy, but if you want to be a cheapstick about it and avoid damage by having unfull hull/shield, u will suffer.

Unknown Device
1% chance to summon super horror
40% chance to summon another Galactic Horror
50% chance to get one other random lootable drop from the Galactic Horror according to its loot table and proc
9% chance to explode and instantly disable your ship
Cannot used while disabled.
(Super horror, a 24 hours NPC with 20x hull and shield and 5x atk/def as the galactic horror. If it expires without being killed, all your planet production is reduced by 40% for 24 hours. Same loot table and slots as Galactic Horror, but with better chance to get the more elusive drops OR with a unique super drop of some sort)

Note: multiple scrapyard will ONLY increase the capacity of the scrap ability, it is always just one ability with one timer.

while installed, chance to lower target player defence by 50% on hit for 30 seconds(pretty long considering you can click spam~), debuff non-stackable. Chance to proc stacks if multiple equipped

Multiphase conversion device

While installed, lower the higher of your hull or shield by 20% of the difference and increase the lower one by 50% of the difference. Amount change is calculated using stats BEFORE the effect of this device.

When first installed, the hull is +25, then for each WHOLE day(24 hour period with no unistallation in between) installed, increase the amount of hull this device provides by MIN(25, MAX(1, engineer/100)) until it reaches maximal capacity of 800.

Atk+30, Def+25, Hull+50, Shield+40, Scan+25, Cloak+20, Energy+15
Each attack made you have a small proc to apply a random debuff in the game to either you or your opponent. (CM is not a debuff~, but it does include trap debuffs)


Note: some of the items might be OP, so perhaps lower drop rate than others~
