Planet events are cool, but it can be annoying when you check your production under trade/research tabs and notice that they have dropped. If you're like me you instantly think "oh god, one of my good planets got stolen" but after checking your log you don't see anything wrong. I suggest a setting that gives you a message to your ship log telling you that the event on planet "..." has expired, or maybe a planet filter to show planets with active events on them.
