Post subject:  TUTORIAL: Avoiding Duplicate Topics

Here's a little tutorial for these forums to ensure you don't re-post a thread which has already been stated (maybe multiple times).

There's a little button on the main toolbar which says "Search" which is located here:

Once you're there, put what you're looking for in the top, leave the second box blank, and select Galaxy Legion as your forum, or...if you want to get more specific...the forum you're posting in.

In the bottom box, change nothing except for the box on the far right, which you change to "Titles Only".

Entering these results, you will get a list of all the posts that COULD have your topic. Find the one with the most posts in it which is relevant, and bump the topic to draw attention to it. In the following example, the keyword "Blockades" was used to see if people have brought up a list of blockades. The third topic would be bumped.

If you see this:

This means there is a high likelihood that this topic has not yet been brought up. You can NOW post the topic.

Follow these steps, and there will be a lot fewer duplicates on this forum.
