No real need, all we need is leader to lead obviously and officers to help the leaders on certain decisions etc. |

Why? What's the difference between the ranks? What are the benefits? You've already essentially got a Founder position, Dan added a couple months ago a provision that the Leader with the most seniority can not be demoted (and therefore made kickable). |

in terms of actual work, this would be an exceptionally easy addition to the game mechanics. relatively anyhow. |

actually Empire X is the exception to this rule. Our founder came back after I did from TU and so im the leader that cant be kicked. Not that it really matters though. Empire X is his baby and we would never take it from him. |

people seem to be arguing about the point af adding new legion ranks, a compromise could be that the option to rename and/or add new ranks, all in the name of legion personilisation of course. |

I suppose you could customize different aspects of the legion (who's allowed to use abilities, repair, accept new members, etc.), but any Officers in your legion should be trusted members who you can trust to do the right thing in those occasions anyway. |

Could just be a designation so you don't accidentally give a bunch of stuff away to someone who isn't really in your legion permanently. |

It is not a waste and its more than pride. If the titles could be customizable as well as customizing what controls each level has, that would be beneficial. My legion has a terrific group in which some shine more than others and should be rewarded (or at least, acknowledged) for their efforts. Some say this is a waste of Dan's time but the game is Galaxy LEGION. The whole premise of the game is teamwork, and group building. When promotions happen in my legion as Im sure it happens in others, people get excited. Pride, most definitely, is a huge part. An awesome motivator. Also, some legions have a more militaristic philosophy, so more than one tier of rankings would help in defining the legion's hierarchy. I don't pretend to know Dan's schedule or his daunting list of tasks, but this is rather easy I think and would surely enhance what is a fundemental part of this game. Improving legions. As it is, there is very little that distinguishes a Member from an Officer. O-comm and the ability to accept requests and kick Members. Very little distinction between an Officer and a Leader. Leaders can promote/demote, Officers can't. And a few permissions with the base. What can you do to separate the ranks even further? Everyone keeps saying "Yes we need more ranks" but nobody is giving anything that makes any new ranks different from the ones we already have. |

Most legions just allow officers and leaders to use base abilities. Rest everyone can use. If you want to recognize those who contribute more post in you FB group or something. Those type of guys naturally stand out and gets the respect from mere members. I can tell you who "sergeants" are in my legion without them having a title and other also see it. |

I don't need more different tiers But I would like it if some of the privileges requirement can be changed For example, I would happily grant all members the "accept application" privilege. This can't be done atm yet perfoming this action in a timely manner is of some importance. And this might be true for some legion but not others, so it would be a nice optional setting. I don't really care about other actions thou... I think the current system handle all other aspects fairly well. |
