I sold ALL my freaking Kurenite on accident, just because there was a non-numeral character in the Quantity Box. I had 204...I wanted to sell 4...I must have accidentally typed a random symbol or whatever but I was going really fast and ALL my Kurenite got sold! ): I know I should have been more careful and it's completely my fault...but still...can this be adjusted? When you have a non-numeral character in the Quantity Box, you should a message saying that it's not a valid amount. instead of EVERYTHING being sold!! I plan to buy them all back of course, but please consider my suggestion to prevent future fails like this. |

Did you double check to make sure you had the right amount? Because Dan is working on a major update and something like this is simple human error. |

I know it's a human error, but I still think there should be an Invalid message if you put in, say $ instead of 4. |

As an experiment, I typed "k2" and "%2" in the quantity box and tried to sell Dynite both with and without the lock activated. All four attempts resulted in a sale of 2 units. The only way I could get it to sell all of my Dynite was to have it unlocked and NO quantity in the box when I hit Sell. |

"NO quantity in the box" will sell all the specific mineral that you are attempting to sell(by clicking the sell button on the row of the mineral, not sell all) regardless of if it's locked or not. And while a k2 will sell 2, a k will sell all, because there is no number in the box 2k5 will sell 25~ so it appears here is how the program works: it will first take the entered string, parse it and remove all non-number characters and then it will sell the content depending on the remaining string. in case where the remaining string is empty, it sells all, otherwise it will sell the quantity entered So the op didn't enter $4, but just $ |

At the point at which all my Dynite was sold I couldn't be bothered buying more to continue playing with it after I established that random symbols or letters don't completely muck everything up. You just have to pay attention to what you're doing. We've already got too much idiot-proofing in the game already, and this is a very minor issue, so I'd rather Dan worry more about content right now. |

I'm in no way supporting the OP suggestion, because I feel it's too low of a priority.... Thou I can think of fixes that are extremely ez, it's still not really worth the effort. just trying to reconstruct the facts ![]() |
