Hi Dan this is more of an open letter, with no gripes but some suggestions most of which you already know about. I wish i had the time to play like i did a few months ago for me now its a case of pay a bit to maintain my position so to speak which is fine.
But there are several categories. although the items you are working on like the trade center and the achievement system are all candy, they only really appeal to the new or lower ranked players with some exceptions. Now we all know that catering for a small minority is not always the best business decision but it would help us in a big way to continue to support you and really some of the suggestions really require minor modifications.
ill categorize them a bit
1) Clicking as a junior person clicking is not much of an issue, that have limited energy to really click much but for a person who has 10 to 15k energy at 5 energy per clicks that's a load of clicking, cant you please tweak the app to help us with clicking. click till dead for NPC's especially. NOT FOR PVP or bases. your new missions of 25 energy and 75 clicks x 20 you know we going to do that all at once right? ( our choice i know, but you built the game for us to grow in energy)
2) Content this is a bit controversial and not easy to implement but a possible solution for rank 1000 plus is a new kind of mission one that requires badges, finding certain number of NPC's killing certain races in PVP, finding rare items all piled into one mission chain that cannot be finished in less than an hour.
Another type of mission that would require large amounts of artifacts to seed the mission and not just one type of artifact and not small quantities, guys with 30k plus ap per hour will never find that a challenge you really need to have high numbers of artifacts to this kind of mission
To avoid unbalancing the game make the rewards real good 60% production bonus for a limited time you already know that senior players are production orientated.
3) Production this one may also be controversial this game for senior players is boring but it can change with good content but there is a divide we have very few true enemies in the highest legion, but with our focus production orientated we are feeding the divide i believe there should be an AP cap players strength Growth is not linear some players are getting stronger and stronger daily. guys with 100k plus AP make more ship enhancements daily than all of the modules put together this is insane this alone unbalances the game. when you have 10 or so player in the game which are more powerful than many bases and unlike bases they grow faster than bases do, that is a problem. I dont mean change the drop rates because that would just irritate people but have a cut off point. with content they could find other ways to enjoy the game.
4) planet management these are some simple suggestions that can be implemented, when you have 20 or 30 planets management is easy but when you have 200 to 300 planets management is almost impossible, you introduced a flagging system which is great now can we expand on that a way to flux probe multiple planets at once, and the ability to do multiple purges. really when you scanning 100 new planets a day it simply takes too long.
i think some of these suggestions are not only simple to implement (not sure about the missions) but can also help with server load, it will add some calculations into the mix like click till dead and re-spawning which may negate some of the advantages but it would really be appreciated.
Really most gripes come back to these few things.

Thanks I totally agree on this. It has been requested multiple times and i'm tired of supporting this suggestion because DAN has not shown his support for purging multiple planets. This is one of the aspects in the game that makes it boring. (i actually have not purged any planets and my purgers have stockpiled where in I have more purgers than the planets I own. I'm just too bored with purging planets right now. I dont want to take 2 hours just to purge my planets.
