No idea if this has been suggested but what about a new arti (gp probably) that spawns a blockade on one of your planets at random.

why would you want to lower your production by 60% for a bit until you destroy it.

There's only one worthwhile blockade out there, and thats the one which appears on rift planets. As it gives you an nrg/shield module which increases for each rift planet you have or a +6% planet structure specifically for rift planets.

Now whilst there are those people who are smart enough and might be willing to pay to guarantee that particular blockade(myself included), there also has to be consideration for the fact that there are alot of idiots( :P ) playing this game, who are going to waste their money buying this artifact and using it on their rich volcanics, because they don't have a clue how useless it is to use it on that kind of planet.

Buying a blockage is interresting in theroy, not sure how pratical it would be.

The Rift planet blockages would be very worth it in general and i personally wouldnt mind forcing more T.O. Hyperseekers to spawn (i'm guessing for Terra or Gaia class planets only)

I'm a geek enough to waste my money on blockages for specific drops faster. I'm guessing anything that helps make the game a little easiler and more fun and makes Dan money so the game is still here tomorrow gets my vote and my money.

I agree. The Blockades are so insanely rare that I've only gotten 1, and I have 140 planets. There should be a way to make them appear faster. Then again, I think they can really screw over lower level players. I have a cousin who stopped playing because his NPC tab had two blockades that he couldn't kill and that wouldn't go away.

id rather buy a blockade for use against someone elses planet but make it 100% and unremovable for 5 days

What if it was modified a bit? Make it so it could be ant planetary event be that a blockade, a event that last a week, or even a permanent effect.

u r obivously not a very good legion member ;)
there is also the one that drops the base shield upgrade. I'm sure the top legions will pay for those things to be used on their base, upkeep just isn't an issue for them at all...
and they no longer need to combat reconstruct as they've got space for everything.

In any case, in some way this would be like a reality trans. It could roll something u want or it could just blah and you go mad. But still, I'm sure some ppl will buy them just cause they want perfection in everything. Its perfectly reasonable to have something like this in the game and each player can choose for themself if they would use it (the OP obviously want to)

So when you consider this suggestion, you should be instead focused on:
would this be OP?
would this cause problem to some other systems?

Just cause u dont want to use it doesnt make it a bad thing.

Though I wouldn't buy it I would like this to be added I have what 364 planets and I've found 1 blockade maybe 2 not to sure on the second one.
