How about the ability to post a message with the base so that all players know to do certain things e.g for those times when you end up locking certain weak bases.
Original legion can set the announcement and all locked legions can see it.

Dear lord... Plus freaking one so much that I am typing it out instead of just putting the number! I don't know how much grief this would have saved me a while back and how many members wouldn't have left because of others breaking the rules. Please Dan, this is needed so terribly that I will quit if it doesn't happen. Not really but you get the idea. |

YES, YES, YES. Thankyou, someone who has thought of this. And also maybe the message is written by the locker and shown to any allies joining in on the fight, saves the 5 energy to comm them. |

Or, you can do what we have in WDE. We make it clear to the players that "glass bases" (50atk/def+800hull/shields) are to be hit only once until either there are 20 hitters or 2 hours left. After that, the base is FFA. If anyone breaks these rules multiple times, they're kicked. |
