Endangered Contraband: 3 completions
The council has contacted us concerning contraband. Shipments of endangered plants and animals have been sent through our territory and the council wants us to investigate. They believe the smugglers have been using sub-band communications to coordinate drops, so adding new comm systems should key us in on their location.
Reward: Sub-band Array (size 7, cloak 10, scan 30)

Shock and Awe: 4 completions
The communications we picked up say they are taking their time to avoid suspicion, so that gives us time to do this professionally. First we need a way to disable them without harming the cargo. The Sha'din are known to develop special electric weaponry for subduing hack targets, so we can hunt them down for the components.
Cost: requires Sha’din Electrical Equipment that drops as a bonus reward from defeating Sha’din NPCs
Reward: Sha'din Storm Cannon (size 14, attack 40, triples against Metallic NPCs, -5 max energy)

Health and Safety: 2 completions
Now that we have a means of finding and disabling the smugglers, we must make accommodations for the endangered species to be safely transported back to their native planets. Our engineers can build a life support containment area for them, then we can route it through the ship to enhance our systems.
Reward: Biosphere (size 20, 170 hull, 40 crew strength)

Catching the Smugglers: 8 completions
All our preparations are complete. The smugglers are scheduled to go through our territory as we speak. All our ambush coordinates are locked in. We are ready to launch at your order.
Reward: Arberion Species Smuggler (battle, Arberion Collective)

*Arberion Species Smuggler can drop 1 of 4 buildings. Each is size 1 and limited to 1 endangered plant per planet.
Vox Stasis Trees (+200 population, +200 defense) (only on icy, barren, metallic, or aphotic)
Artherian Crystal Shrubs (+200 population, +200 cloak) (only on crystal, exotic, terra, or gaia)
Newzaril Caustic Vines (+200 population, +600 invasion defense) (only on toxic, irradiated, demon, or sentient)
Scarl Fire Lilies (+200 population, +200 attack) (only on desert, volcanic, oceanic, or dyson)

Special Delivery: 14 completions
Those smugglers belonged to the Arberion Collective, an organization focused on biological superiority. It is strange that they are so far away from their territory… However, we must deliver these species to their indigenous planets. Be cautious that the Arberion may return for their “cargo.”
Reward: Arberion Acquisition Force (battle)

*Arberion Acquisition Force drops Arberion Strain Bioweapon (target planet loses 20% max population, penalizes 50% population rate, and penalizes -500 invasion defense for 5 hours. The effect is called “Arberion Infection")

Reaching the Ministry: 6 completions
The Arberion Collective has been lashing out at our trade ships in retaliation. All attempts at reasoning with them have been blocked. Our only chance is to meet their Prime Minister. We will run their blockade and contact him in low orbit. Perhaps then they will listen to our call.
Reward: Arberion Blockade Ship (battle)

*Arberion Blockade Ships drop Feral Growth Serum (artifact; target planet gains +100 passive population, +50 passive attack, and +50 passive defense; can only be used on Terras, Gaias, Oceanics, and sentients)

Arberion Protection: 20 completions
(Arberion speaking) Forgive us for leaving you ignorant of the situation. We cannot trust you to give your full cooperation for the goals we seek. We are attempting to secure rare plants and animals to keep them safe from extinction. We realize that removing them from their natural habitat is discouraged in most cultures, so we attempted subtly. If you are adamant in keeping them on their native worlds, we can help you build adequate facilities to defend them from your mechanized filth.
Reward: Arberion Wildlife Preserve (size 1 building, gives 600 population, max 2 per planet)

Really like it, especially the idea of Passive Population and Plants

Reviving this thread in light of the new story mission.
If feedback is good, I will finish the Arberion Saga.
