I don't know if anyone suggested this, but I was thinking, for the weekly mission chains, instead of unlocking new playable races, how about a chain that unlocks a new npc race? They would only be uncommon rare and extremely rare, non-shareable of course and give rewards such as, one ship mod, and the rest have artifacts like planet structures, or passive or temporary stats to ship or planets?
I could really go for a artifact that increases base planet population. Max of 500 or 1000?
Thoughts?

I know the biology ward, but passive, like attack cloak and def. But thats besides the point, the main idea was the mission chain.
