Hello World!
We all know now that most NPCs have a number after their name. What purpose this number serves, is at this point, pretty useless to everyone.

If however it was changed to be the amount of the NPC you had killed, it would at least serve some purpose to the player, where as it means nothing now.

It would be a very minor change to the player, but welcomed.
Though im not sure if its worth / possible making with manhours and coding etc.

coding is simple, the problem is with databse. This would create a huge extra strain on the database.
I think NPC are "number coded" because of databse usage requirements, so not everything have to be called by ID.

In any case, i feel it's useless either way, so I lean toward not placing more burdon on the servers for something that is borderline useless

each roman numeral represents a different copy of that ship on the random NPC charts.
Thus, there are thirty different (but identical) copies of the Sha'din Charger on the random NPC list, each with the same commonality. A common with only I - X would be 1/3rd as likely to show up as one with I - XXX.
