For whatever reason i havent had any random planet effects in a couple of weeks, but either way, i thought of a new one. Alien Insect Swarm: Reduces 1 production type (at random) on your planet by 20%, but boosts another by 10%. Lasts 1 week. You can pay credits to remove this if you want, cost increases based on planet size. If the effect is not removed by the end of the first week, it changes to "Uncontrolled Outbreak" which cannot be removed, and remains on the planet for another week with the same effect. |

Negative effects are NOT a good idea, many little guys can barely handle the blockades, they really don't need more hinderances. A big -1 from me. |

This is a HORRIBLE IDEA!!! Do you want the little guys to suffer???? Unless you screw around with it to make it better, that will be a -20 from me. |

If and only if Dan increase planet events proc in general. I've said in a thread of this type before, having one negative and 10 postives is better than just 5 positives. |

-20% one type, but +10% other type? Would only worth it if you could choose which one would be lowered and which would be raised... But wouldn't exactly be random then, now would it? |

It's better than chucking tons of energy at it. Credits are abundant if you know how to maintain it so it balances out either way. |

it could work if you tweak the idea a bit |

Make suggestions then people! dont just say something is bad and then give no input. |

Were not giving input cause the very basis of the idea is bad, there is no way ANY sort of negative effect should be allowed into the game unless the positive effect outweighed it. |
