Some small bonus based on the balance of your skills. If for example you have a record of: - 407 Player Kills, 632 NPC Kills, 374 Raids, 440 Hacks, 100 Missions Completed
You would be considered a "SCHOLAR" player, where you balance your stats. This could give you a bonus which is an all-around effect, such as: - Proficient: +100 player defense
- Other more appropriate all-around effect?
Notice the NPC kills rate is a significant amount higher than the other stats. Simply because it's easier to kill NPCs. Missions is also lower because as you get higher up, the amount of missions you can do decreases drastically. If you had a stats layout of: - 1293 Player Kills, 500 NPC Kills, 307 Raids, 340 Hacks, 124 Missions Completed
You would be considered a "WARRIOR" player, in how you balance your stats. This could give you a bonus which is an offensive effect, such as: - Violent: +5% player attack (possibly UP)
- Violent: +10% player attack (possibly OP)
And similarly, if you're an NPC killer, you'd be a "GUARDIAN" player, which would give an NPC offensive effect which is like the above, but for the chance of finding Elite/Boss NPCs instead. Raids dominated players would be a "THIEF" or "BOUNTY" player, which would give an effect targeted at successful raids. Hacks dominated players would be a "CYBERTHIEF" player, which could give an effect targeted at successful hacks. Missions dominated players would be a "QUESTER" player, which could give an effect targeted at energy. Those players who don't have enough stats to gain any rewards would be an "APPRENTICE".

+1 to the idea, -1 to the idea of increasing the chances of critical hacks unless it also increases the chances of them critically failing hacks by the same ratio

Could be just +5% to successful raids and hacks instead...I don't want it to be critical for one without the other being the same.

I like it but maybe just in crease the players % of over just getting a raid or a hack. Not a crit one. Also one should be on there for battles. And for the NPC one I would much rather have it increase the chances of finding a boss or Elite NPC.

-1 I would say that I like it but well lets face it everyone would end up with the NPC one because they are the easiest to get a mass amount of kills vs doing missions, hacks, or even player kills or doing anything else. The only way I could see it working is if you could choose after so many player kills, hacks ect.

I think there should be two tiers of those things, a lower tier that based on the "highest" number and is activated automatically. And a higher tier that requires some VERY high amounts (like 5k+ PvP kill or 20k NPC kill etc) that will unlock a bonus that you can choose and replace the lower tiered one. Thou there should be a changing cd of at least 7 days between the options That way, at lower lvl it represents ur play style well, while at higher tier you won't get dragged by NPC

+1 a nice way to identify the player's gameplay. Off Topic: I still want more Medal Tier for PvP Kills.

Part of the reason why I designed my enigma medal reward series to have a limit of 3 active enigmas~ it's boring to have everyone more or less the same at late game

+1 from me on some parts of this idea. Others could use a little tweaking.

Yes. I meant there's a range where all stats have to fall in order to be balanced (as listed above, scholar status) otherwise the stat which is strongest provides the bonus.

just to mix things up a bit ... i was thinking that rather than encouraging you to boost the stat you're already strongest in, that once you tilt towards one of the categories, that you would randomly get the bonus for one of the other categories in the proposal.
so, someone who's a scholar can teeter between the various skills and try to 'time' their shifts so that they can take advantage of one of the bonuses for what they want to do NEXT. i could see someone balancing between 2 'skill' areas, to juggle the bonus available to them.
