Hi there!
so since we have lots of ppl playing from all over the world from different time zones... its get hard sometimes to understand where is what time zone for different ppl, to make things easy it would be cool if we would have game time, all of us the same one, so its more easy to coordinate some things, hits , shares so on

(still sorry for my english, if something dont make sense ask me i will try to refrase it)

Personal World Clocks
you can add several different timezones to a personalized list, so you can see what time it is for different people in your legion...

alternatively, have the entire legion learn how many hours off from GMT they are, so you can quickly calculate to and from GMT/UTC... then when you're saying meet at a certain time... let's say 2pm Central time....... tell them 8pm (UTC)...
alternatively,... learn what your offset from GMT/UTC is... for USA Central timezone, not during DST... it'd be UTC -6.... so then say 2pm (UTC-6)

ALSO!!! don't forget another great feature of the website i posted above...

i know that mate :)
there is more easy ways to get that done, i am running "Doors 7" i can stack all my desktop with all time in the world if i want and its easy to access...
but its not a point, idea is to get unified clock in all galaxy, like on warships, they have unified time (forgot the name tho)

Although i do agree you can just do a quick estimation in your head to figure it out, not too many people are worldy and can estimate that european players are roughly 9 hours ahead of west coast USA players and so on. As lycan said, just ask your mates what the current time it is for them or what region of the world they are in to get a rough idea. If you have a legion filled with players all over, I might suggest to start saying things like ok lets plan to invade said planet in 6 hours does that work for everyone? Base is a given as it gives you a count down. and you can apply the hours to almost anything else needed to be cordinated.

I do agree how ever that it would be nice to script the time stamp to the Server time. In most browser based games I have played, it has always been set to local server times. An idea also could be to have in our settings button an option to set it to Local or server time.

as i said, it would be cool to just have it,
for instance "lets attack at 12.15 ingame time" instead of "lets attack in 4h and 15 min" which can be confusing sometimes, i guess it would be just whole lot easier... :)

I think that space in the bottom right corner (next to the legion comm) would be a perfect place for a Galactic Standard Time clock.

Perfect place would be directly beneath the Galaxy Legion logo. Something like this, but just a little bigger/better....

+1, Some people forget to post what time zone they are in, particularly if they are in Eastern or Pacific time zones. That makes it difficult when they say lets attack at 11:00 or something like that.

It would also let us know when certain game features change, like in the Universal Service Terminal.

Revisiting this to gain more support. With the recent logo change, it seems as though there is even more room in that upper left corner for a universal GL clock. Please Dan, the legion system was incorporated so that people could act as a team. Time zones really screw that teamwork up. A universal clock would give us that little bit of organizational assistance.

not really only a month old and if he would of started a new thread to say think you for this others would of told him to use the all ready existing threads to stop clutter. I too have to say a big Thanks to Dan for this. While it is just a small thing it will help so much. Thank you!
