 planet resource sharing

When part of a legion, you should be able to "link" planet resources with the legion's base to boost daily base pulls. It'd work as follows:

1. Settings
* Planet is set as a "resource hub" in the planet's "actions" tab.

2. Resources
* If base is set to Artifact, and the planet is a 3x megarich arti planet, the planet gives base production a +1 boost to arti per megarich planet value. So 3x megarich = +4 to base arti production.
* As long as planet is set as a resource hub, the player does not accrue any hourly resources from the planet.
* Planet buildings have no effect on resource production
* Resource artis have no effect on resource production, except by increasing planet size or resources (e.g. convert 1x mega to 2x mega)

3. Attk/Defense
* Hub planets would "pass through" any attacks to base.
* To the attacker, they would see a hub symbol on the planet, and know it's connected to the legion's base.
* The planet's attk/defense would reflect base attk/defense, and they would see a bar that represents the base's hull + shields (combined).
* Hub planets can be alerted to legions. Legions can pile onto a hub just like they could a base, and once the base is disabled, the planet would be disconnected from the base (no longer a hub), and all attackers would get a bonus.
* Once disabled and disconnected from base, a planet can be invaded like a normal planet

4. Cloaking
* Hub planets retain their original planet cloak values, based on artis/effects.

5. Base disables
* Disabling a base does not disconnect all planet resources
* If base is disabled via planetary attack, the planet that was attacked is disconnected.
* If base is disabled via base target lock, planets remain connected

this will never happen because bases arent made to be a solar system in size..
and +1 to MR for base payout... do you know how many AP every base would be pouring out when they had it maxed at 66 (full 60 person legion)??
right now at a 'meagre' 6 X we get 50-60K on even dividend, an extra SIXTY times that... is about.. N|EVER GONNA HAPPEN.

why think of a base as a sun in a solar system? It's a legion. It makes sense to be able to claim planets as a legion resource, for distribution purposes. We already have something in place, it's just artificially manufactured out of thin air currently. Here, we're replacing that with tangible resources, like planets.

Are you suggesting the resource hub planet add this whatever amount of richness to the actual "availability" of richness on a base, which is usually only increased when you level your base up?

I've got a 20x MR Planet with 25k defense and 30k attack, and 20k cloak. That alone would add 21x richness to our base literally quadrupling our daily base output from 60k - 240k artifact points per person, and providing a 25k def and 30k atk boost to the base at the same time.

Now if more than one person can get on a base like you've suggested, the larger legions could very easily pack on 10 people with 1 20x MR planet and nerf their bases to output 2.34 Million Artifacts to everyone in the legion every day.


Now lets take this idea right out with the fact that around half my legion have their mission dysons, thats currently 29 people with 28x MR Planets with 20k def/20k attack.

Thats an additional 580k atk and def for our base, making it undefeatable. Now production wise we're talking about 841 MR'ness added on here - that would mean a daily artifact shipment of 8.4 million artifact points.

maybe limit this ability to higher level bases, like lvl 6 or 7. or just completely replace arti/res production mods with the more organic planet resources, and allow multiple resources as a result.

The numbers are SUGGESTIONS, don't dismiss an idea because the number might not be ideal. Instead suggest something more reasonable or tweak the idea to better fit the picture :)

* and btw I never said planet attk/def would apply to base. it's the other way around. Base becomes vulnerable through hub planets.
