They're pretty much like legion bases, only at the individual user level.

The mods you can install on a space station requires the same research tier as base mods.

Upgrading them is similar to upgrading bases.

However there is no loyalty bonus and base level bonus is reduced from 500% to 100%.

It would cost 1 red badge to scan for a space station.

Defending player can guard his/her base from being disabled.

Mods are 50% less efficient than their base counterparts.

And there would be a different set of Abilities.

You can get a purple badge for disabling a space station.

And you can raid a level 4+ space station.


This would give players (who have no experience building bases, and wants to know what it feels like to run one.)

Interesting idea but you would have to lower the ability to guard the base that is unless you lack "base ability" like the full scale verson

i know that there are other reasons to create legions, but if individuals can make their own stations, then that would cover the reason *i* created my legion.

legions were around before bases were, but now that bases exist, that might allow for a bit of re-jigging. perhaps this would be an elegant way to address the concerns about mini-legions and minimize the number of legions with few members.

maybe, the space stations could be the level 1 / 2 of the current bases. then, when you have met the requirements for a lvl 3 base, that would be when you would 'create' a legion, with a warning that you can't abandon the base or the legion without contacing the dev team.

The only way I can see this working is if mods are 2% effective compared to their legion counter parts

considering you can only own one space station, and it would be hard to construct with all the materials needed to construct/upgrade one.
