Now im not complaining about the totally awesome and invaluable clock, ive already thought of millions of uses for it that will really improve gameplay and make it better for everyone... yeh ok i'll stop being sarcastic. My suggestion is, make it analog and click it to show the digital time, instead of it just being a analog clock-like image you can click. No I do not want to know your ideas for how it can improve the game everyone. I don't care. |

Sparky wrote: Or just have the time show permanently rather then having to click to view it i'm guessing that this might be due to concerns about lag / server load - the more timers active, the greater the chance of 'something bad' happening. when i first saw (and squinted at) the analog clock, i was thinking that that was boneheaded. but then i checked back 10 minutes later and noticed that the hands of the clock weren't moving and that it was just a static image, that you had to click to get the digital readout. if this test works out, then Darth's other timer suggestions might be workable. however, if EVERYONE ran with all those timers on by default, that might cause problems. timers on by default: energy, shield timers on by request: galactic clock timers / trackers requested: pacified, actions |
