Better sorting for modules? Battle stances?

On the ship tab, for each section of modules, add a small dropdown menu button next to the benefit sort button. Have the dropdown menu defaulted to the primary output of that module type (attack for weapons, output for energy), but also have other options, like sort by energy consumption (Ion Pulse Ballistae) or upkeep, or group by special ability.
Also, institute "Loadouts", where you can save a certain configuration of modules. This would allow one-button clicking to change between hacker stance and defensive stance, for example. Adding additional slots for loadouts could be an expansion resource, the way adding slots on the btab are.
As it stands, having exactly one stance is how we have it. You could do something like granting the second with a medal, and then subsequent with missions or npcs that don't become visible until you have that medal. Or alternately, make it a high energy requirement mission, but visible at low level, so that everyone knows about it, but primarily big ships who have the most need for it are able to get it, except it would be easier in general to buy E refills to get it. Tack a medal onto getting, say, 4 stances unlocked. Don't have a window mission obscure what the end purpose is, and split it into three missions in a chain. Have each mission take something like 90 reps, give 2.3xE rp each. Not sure about E cost. Have them carry an additional cost of minerals per rep, and make the mineral needed be the primary available but rare type at each level bracket you want to have access to this, to control it a bit.

Actually, bigger ships have LESS need for multiple configurations because we have deckspace for everything and don't need to swap mods.

It's a pretty decent idea, but it'll create a load on the server. There was a suggestion like this before, but it's basically saving multiple ships per person. You can't just have the game save multiple lists of modules, because the game works off of a code. It can't pull the modules on when you click it unless it has multiple ships saved per person. EG. I would have a Base, NPC, and PvP stance. Each of those would save under my ship; therefore I would technically have 3 ships, but I can only use one at a time.
And I don't think you should be allowed to get them from missions. There should be a maximum of 3 (or 5) per member. I'm saying 3 because more would create a massive load on the server; but 5 is more realistic: normal/mission (tons of energy+recharge), NPC, PvP, Bases, Hacker/Invisible (High Cloak). The first would have to be bought from the GP store (for, say, 50gp). What you buy is a module:
~Ship Datacenter~ 10 decks Allows your ship to hold multiple configurations of modules. (Limit per ship=1)
The original Datacenter can only hold two configurations (your original one and an extra)
After buying the first one, you achieve a medal, which allows you to see special NPCs called Datacarriers (idk, it needs a better name, I'm thinking this up on the spot). The NPC would also have to have a decent cloak (500-ish)- high defense (2000, scaled) and medium attack (1000, scaled). It would have high shields (2000, scaled) and low hulls (500, scaled). Each would drop a "Ship Datacenter Upgrade".
Each upgrade would add 5 space to the module and allows your ship to hold another configurations. You can get a max of three upgrades (so you can upgrade it to 5 configurations total).
After this, you stop seeing the NPCs. Upon getting all 4 upgrades and the module, you finish another medal.

50GP isn't much. And it's so that he can make a profit off of the update...

You open it in Safari on your iPod, iPhone, or iPad (it also works on Androids too I think) and then you download the apps that they have there. The app creators sponsor them. Once the app is installed, you just have to open it once. Then, you can close it, and refresh the browser to get your "bones". Depending on the app, they reward anywhere from 12-100 bones. 10 bones=1 facebook credit. In about 2 hours of work during my free time, I got a nice 90 GP. It's not that hard, and pretty easy to do once you get it set up right.

I think it would be nice if you could more easily organize modules. For example, I hate the "Into the Expanse" mission when it blows up all your scanners because then it's like ten million clicks to repair and install all the modules. If you could easily organize the scanners to the front it would be easy, or whatever. I think organization like that would be very nice.
