Ever get annoyed about higher ranks raiding you and not being able to return the favor, even with three armories? I do, a little bit. How about some another yellow badge module to give players a better chance against higher ranks? Protean Barricade [ Special Module - Size:10, Hull:300, Raiding Bonus and Raiding Defense Against Higher Ranks:+4% ] Installs a Protean Barricade in your ship. Limit 1 per ship. Cost: 120 Yellow Badges Two players with all Protean Armories and a Protean Barricade would have raiding bonuses as such: the lower rank would have a 27.4% raiding bonus against the higher rank, and the higher rank would have a 17.8% raiding bonus against the lower rank. A raider with all yellow badge mods would have a raiding bonus of 65.6% against higher ranks and a 53.1% raiding bonus against lower ranks with barricades. As it is, players with three armories have a total raiding bonus of 22.5%, and raiders with all three armories have a total raiding bonus of 59.3%. I am currently a raider and have put my 60% raiding bonus to good use. I have been multi-raiding lower ranks AND higher ranks. For the fun of it, to move up the leaderboard, and to work toward the 5000 raids medal. |
