Post subject:  Mylarai extractors
As a low rank, I made quite a few mistakes putting certain valuable items on bad planets. Yet the extractors are uber rare. Rarer than any other NPC imo.

I would like to see a mission that is repeatable to get more of them? Or perhaps an extractor of some sort added to the GP list.

Once you npc more you start to see more of them, they're not actually that rare.

If there was a version that had the same restriction as the Temporal Flux (only usable on planets that haven't been attacked in the last week), I would be in favor of it being generated by a repeatable mission.

NPC more. They really are fairly common for an uncommon. About on par with the spawn rate of Stryll Trappers in my experience.

there is a star chart purger mission....
star chart purger is fraekily common at high AP production, at least if you consider the amount of energy/EM it takes to do the mission.

The mission is for lowbies that don't have sufficently high AP production yet, so I feel like it would be perfectly reasonable for one to be made for newbies who can't NPC in the thousands yet. Therefore I find your counter arguments weak.

But indeed, I agree with ICBLF, it needs restriction or ppl can just extract jack at early lvl

Mylarai Build Extractor (Uses Left: 344)

And I use them all the time. They are super nice and fairly common if you can NPC right. At early ranks it takes time and patience. Wait till you save up a few cubes or Tri's and wait till you have lots of nano's and shield restorers. You will also want all the buffs you can get as well. Then just NPC for a couple hours or more. And see how it works for you.

344 of them would last me for a year lol. Alright, I will NPC on a day I have a bunch of time and see how it goes. But I had a friend NPC for 10 ranks and he got more terraformers (4) than he did extractors (3).

yea i maybe have gotten 17 extractors in my near 6k npcing, but i will take the 30 TFs and the QSE ive gotten over those.

I'm Mylarai - i should just be able to send for one; Half joking, half serious, perhaps the Mylarai race gets a mission that gives you a version that can only be used on planets not attacked in a week.

I am currently doing the Mylarai missions, so I would be ok with this.

I've killed close to 10k total npc's and have accumulated ~50+ extractors. The best way i've found to get extractors is to do an npc spree at least once a week. Doesn't have to take long, just keep killing the npc's that pop up and an extractor will eventually fall on your tab. My last spree resulted in me getting 8 extractors in one go. They are out there, just be patient.

and how many npcs have you killed since then?
