If you wish to find a player so that you can talk to them it can be difficult so what if instead of searching for the legion which a player may not recall the name of, what if you just search their name of the player which takes you to their legion also?

Furthermore, once you find the legion the player is in it would be nice if we could select that player so that you dont have to send a message through the legion and instead straight to the player.

This would have nothing to do with the battle tab or attacking some 1 it would simply be another way to communicate to players as not everyone can recall a legions name and having to wait to hear back from a player via sending the legion a message is frustrating and is not always guaranteed because if they are not a officer or leader you are relying on others to pass on a message.

It could be done the same way as "friends" so that you could see/comm without being able to target/alert.

Very true you could chose the add those players to your friends list. They may not be a real friend on FB but as its part of the game they could still be added.

i don't really see anything wrong with the idea. its just saying that we should have a better way to find people to communicate with. and yeah it could work like the friends list. +1

How about a new messaging system. You type in the name of the player you want to send the message to, and it sends the message without ever bringing up the player "card" or "screen" - I've seen other games with this feature.

Maybe a "Contacts" list. I think it sounds good. +1

Have a new tab, next to research, called "Contacts" or "Messaging" just for it.
