Because there just no way two survive with 5+ deck size every time we LV up because my deck size is 665 and i still dont have enough room the main thing using up the space are : Energy / Hull / Shield & Defense parts because 1+ is not cutting it meaning i use all 5 rank points on deck size and if im able two have 25+ deck size every time we LV up that means i use all 5 rank points on deck size. its just 4 more and that's not much because 1 X 5 = 5 and also you forget it takes longer to level up when your rank gets higher.

Hundreds of us have done it that way and been just fine, and now if you look around there are all kinds of people complaining that they have too much space now. Not to mention that would be increasing your damage cap by 5 per click vs the .5 per click it currently does, and likely end up with many players wasting extra deck space. All around bad

Like so many things in the game man, you need to have a little patience. Everything becomes a lot less fun if you don't earn it, and can do everything you want right away. Besides, with that much deck that quickly, you'd only end up installing way more than you could afford at your rank anyway. Then you'd be begging for more credits for everything also.

"Need to increase +1 to +10 when increasing deck size"
Seriously, how can you get to and two confused?! Decks should remain as +1 , I have been playing for over 4 months and i have accumulated lots of decks. If you want, you can find a legion that produces artifacts from it's base.
Higher chance of receiving ship-bots and rescued prisoners, Ship bots (+2 Decks) and Rescued Prisoners ( +3 Rank Points ). High artifact production (2000+) will generally get you one of the two artifacts i mentioned a day.

Playing over for 4 months now... gained 899 Decks at Rank 153. 5.8 Decks per Rank. Going for a smaller Ship build, currently saved up to 35 Ship-Bots and putting every Rank points I get from Prisoners and Ranks to my Tactical Officers. Increasing the Deck per rank points would totally make ships around the game Powerful. -1. Only occupy VL+ R+ Artifact Planets, Artifact Base would also help you from getting more Ship-bots and Prisoners.

PS: Early on in the game it makes more sense in the long run to buy Ship Bots, and Cargo Expanders instead of spending rank points on them.

But unless your going SSB, then it's a good idea to put some into decks though, cause with the arti production at that rank it's never going to sustain you.

Ship Bots and Rescued Prisoners really make a big difference. Join a legion with artifact mods and it'll solve most of your problems.

Sorry paying for decks. Is that with gp? If not then how else do you buy them. If so like I think then have you realised most people aren't CC players. And tell them to do surveys, don't you think terraformers and quasis would be better placed from the very limited gp you can get from those.

Ok here's the thing... At low ranks you have low APH generally. Meaning few shipbots. Meaning your deckspace will not outpace your ever improving tech and your ability to pay for it. There comes a point when shipbots become essentially useless and at that point, most people will have enough stockpiled that they can quickslap enough on their ships to add any new mods from missions or NPCs. Why make them useless so much sooner?
Now as far as decks per rank point go, +10 is just downright ridiculous. There is a little debate over the best time to stop using rank points for decks. Some say at approximately 2000. At 10 decks per rank point, you could conceivably reach that threshold at rank 40. Or variably you could use 1 rank point per level for decks and the other 4 for energy. Throw in rescued prisoners and everyone will be able to autorank by the time they reach 150. Autoranking at high levels can be a dangerous thing if you don't know what you are doing. Doing it at low levels when you WON'T know what you are doing is nothing short of a recipe for disaster. Even at 2 decks per rank point, it could spell doom. Bigger isn't always better.
