ones that remove the effect of traps and spy probes that tell you how much hull or shields someone has left

Ooooh, hull and shields sounds reasonable, since we have probes for weapons and defense. Just be like a standard probe. I think it's pretty much the same thing but for a different stat, I like it.

Trap removal... dunno how that affects the balance. If you mean remove traps I triggered, no that kind of makes it pointless. If you mean disarm 1 enemy trap at random, then I think it might be ok, but still dubious if that's what Dan would really want. I think traps are important for PvP balance, notice the trap probe only tells you how many they have and nothing else. So I think this one probably wouldn't go through but it's an interesting idea.

Trap removal would be too powerful. The whole purpose of traps was to allow a person a level of defense while being offline due to being online being a huge advantage. This would circumnavigate that.
