I'm getting sorta tired of popping a fuse to remove a krio, and then running into a halc afterwards, leaving me short a fuse and energy for nothing. Having a krio on should count as a pvp action for the purposes of halc. It's the pvp trap, halc is the pve trap. You should never be able to wear both.

It is your fault for not bothering to check their "Actions" tab, looking for the 3/5/5. Avoid attacking people with 3/5/5 actions, and you'll avoid the halcyon traps.

Here we go again...

They have just as much right to use all the traps they want, in whichever order they want, as you have in attacking them in the first place. Traps are just fine as is and are not going to be changed any time soon. Deal with it, quit complaining, and take your frustrations out on some other poor ship from you BT.

Ahhhh~ well, they lasted alot longer than we figured darth~

a whole 13 days since someone had a good whine about Halc and Krios~

It's your fault that you lost a null and some energy by trying to force people back into pvping. did we kill your murderboner?? Gee, that's to bad~ tell you what, when you pay for the repair costs and wasted traps, then we'll stop halc/krio combo.

;) love how the shortening of Krionus sounds alot like the actions these guys are doing ;)

I will however give credit to the OP for being honest enough to point out this is about his nulls, rather than it being unfair as negoterra always whined about.

Did someone call me? Meh the only thing I whine about is when people intentionally set them that way granted that period is one of the many things that making people not want to Pvp easier to just sit passive then to rage cuz you burn through a hours worth of energy and a null only to hit a halc.

Rather frustrating that...

that's the whole point though ;)

sure it cost you an hour of energy to disable my ship, it could take 2-3 hours of mining production to cover the repair cost for my ship, you got a red and possibly a yellow out of it, I got reduced stats and repair costs to cover.

who came out worse? the defender of course, so for every 10 easy kills you get, you can pay a null and an hours energy to get krio-halced just once out of like 10.

I agree that it can be annoying, i get hit with the same stuff that everyone else does, but since I pvp like once a week if I can be bothered, then I have a small stockpile that I can pop quite freely to get 20-40 kills in one small run~ it's all about weighing up your assets against theirs, and they'll always have more halcs and krios than your nulls~ tis the risks of the pvp business.

Only problem i have with that is you got it backwards you get krio-halcs more then you get anything else other then that half true.

I just went on a mini pvp run, 8 kills, hit 1 krio, no halcs, 7 laughable and 1 savage. guess who had the krio?

Gee, that kinda disproves the "laughables wear halcyons" combat reputation theory now don't it? :D

Luck of the draw, I went on a little 30 kill streak, with no nulls, hit one krio, but 12 halcs

Oh, so what you're saying is that the reputation doesn't mean that they will or that they won't have traps?

A bit off topic but I love when people prove my points for me.

Honestly the insane rep players are more likely to be using halcs from what I've seen just to prevent that useless rep from dropping

I've racked up more than 200 kills in the last week and I agree with this statement.

The main problem with things is how the traps are used more or less. Mainly cuz both sides are not willing to meet a middle ground personally i wouldnt mind seeing it made so a halc means someone wont even show up on the BT.
They want to stay out of pvp then let them we dont want them cluttering up our lists. :P

Where's the middle ground for the pvpers? we'll disable you quickly if you don't use traps? now why would anyone who doesn't want to pvp agree to that kind of middle ground. the middle ground should be some kind of opt-in system for pvping, which would mean all your targets are halc free as they are the people who want to pvp.

seriously, every arguement i've seen against krio-halcing, is that it wastes your nulls, we clutter up your battle tab, we waste your energy. never anything about how you've forced us to regularly use traps, nothing about the damage to hull that WE have to repair, nothing about the hack and raids we'll probably be subject to if you managed to get around the halc.

if you can make an arguement in which both sides will benefit, then let's hear it and we'll debate its merits and drawbacks.

Just like every argument the halc users make totality ignore the fact that the attacker has to repair as well as well as the hours of pve hunting to get trap probes PVP costs both players my friend. And I was half joking on my last post about removing halc users from the BT. ;)

Everyone knows my feelings on this. There is nothing wrong with the system the way it is. PvPers want to attack someone, they give up their right to complain about damage to their own ship and artifacts they use. That would be like one country attacking another and then complaining because they have to use bombs or one of their planes gets shot down. So on that note, I think I'll just sit back and enjoy Neo's witty arguments....
