Dan please add either 10 second to the end of the last bid to prevent anti sniping or add
a count down timer + 5 second anti sniping timer.

This mean the last person to auctally bids who want it wins as there to many people timing the bid for right at the end of the auction and winning.

The energy limit can stay the same so some one will win in the end.

the timer has no god dam thing to do with sniping , even if the time is 2476 minutes you can still snipe

sniping means you want it, to snipe you have to actually do something + use your brain.

Sniping makes the prices go up by 100%, although I'm not complaining about it because I've snatched 200 TMs -50% off the current asking price.

But then there is already showing up people who snipe bids just to amuse themselves and then turn around and scrap or resell the item they bought for the same price or more.

where is the wrong doing in this... some people enjoy buying ANY arti... what they do with them is of ZERO consequence. if i NPC all day long and scrap EVERY LAST drop i get, and then go buy a crap planet on the forums, will someone stop me... HELL NO.
Just try to keep your bidding window open so you can re bid if someone tries to snipe.

You know its becomeing rather remarkable how many of the player base lack the ability to view the big picture and even think about how other players have to deal with in day to day problems some players cant sit on the computer all day others have really bad connection speeds others just out right might not be able to have motor skills needed to make fast responses.
But does anyone care no they dont! In fact they look for a way to take advantage of them and then laugh about it later.

A very valid point, But as mentioned that's one of the problem's with this game while yes its a competitive game it tends to get out of hand.

Even wars have rules of engagement to follow and those who dont follow them get branded as war criminals, I know not easy to compare this to a real life war but, it kinda points to what I've mentioned there is to much greifing and trolling in the game to make it enjoyable to a large portion of the player base.

This scares away many new players that are able to get past the overwhelming part of getting started, unless there is some way to address that issue in time the only ones who actively play are the ones who have been around for the longest time.

No new blood in a game makes it quickly start to become stagnate and start to fall apart.

Icar there is far more to this game then just pvp.....dan has made it so players can pvp npc hunt or just do missions.

Also to answer what you said a common war crime is the attacking of civilians or the non-combatants.

this is ridiculous.. there are no innocent bystanders in a war. EVERYONE is a target. there are halcs for those who wish to cower in fear, like most do during war time. then there are those who arent afraid to battle and enjoy the game as its supposed to be played..

NPCIng is an added bonus for planet/ship enhancements, just the same as missions, but the core of the game is PvP and planet thefts, which cause people to get worked up and FIGHT!!!

Someone stole one of my planets two weeks ago, know what i did, I STOLE IT BACK!!! its not even a very nice planet.. but i took my planet back, and zeroed their ass and did half on the player who assisted... only reason i didnt finish is i ran out of TMS... now ill ask. is that bullying or just what this game is supposed to be like... because to me and everyone else, thats EXACTLY what this game is/should be about.

Technically icar the behavior and method that pvp works is more along piracy then open war.

This is quickly going away from what the idea was. The game is harsh yes and every one does what they can do.

While I would be ok with a minute lock or so for the last bidder. Life is not far, what about the joy of seeing an item you put up jump in price by a lot as people are getting click mad?

There are no set rules for trading on GTC past how it works. Till that changes (which some do seem on the works). No reason to get to up in arms till its been around for more time. Some parts are just starting to even out a tad.


But remember war crimes are written as much by the victor as history. This is a war game where some things wont be fair, that is how it works. The parts that have been made more fair where done so for large reasons. The GTC is still to new to make many large changes (past upping its usability) give it a month before major complaints should really matter. So once July is over the way things are and what will be change should be in. Thats a time to give a strong review. Thats when its time to ask dan for more changes.


Dan and crew might take there time but they make each update as stable as they can. That is the part that countsm given them time to work out the tiny details as they see what they make work + user non constrictive ideas.
