Post subject:  Base production distributed by energy contribution ONLY

In my travels around making toxics, I've seen too many bases where the higher ranks are the only ones that have significant EM contributions (usually resulting from them being the only ones that can contribute to a base right after it levels up; as soon as everyone else catches up, the EM needs for that level have already been met). I feel that having a base distribution option based off of energy (or energy and CTP, if you prefer) contributed to the base would provide a much fairer distribution for those that have truly given something to the advancing of their legion base.

If nothing else, something should be done to scale back the impact that EM has on calculating the overall percentage contributed. 1 EM contributed is NOT the same as 1 energy or 1 CTP contributed, and thus should not be weighed the same in determining percentage of base output in legions that choose to go that route.

Lolno way em is the good thing about the bases it helps get higher percent for less effort its fine as it it imo.

But it makes it harder to contribute to the base when higher-ranked players pour in all the EM in under an hour. -1 to removing EM as something that affects contribution percentages, but +1 to changing the percent weight of each thing.

We actually limit how much em you can put in based on how much energy and tech you have put in. this seems to work fairly well.

+ 1 to changing the the impact of em but not taking em out of percent, it's true putting in 1000 em shouldn't give you as much percent as 1000 ctp as for one thing how much ctp will that em get you 70ish ctp.

+1 Em is so easy to come by and doesn't affect your game play. Energy affects what you can do in game and should count for way more. I would love only energy to count toward base percentage even though our base is set on equal.

lol thats funny for you to say as youve donated 1mil to wfl that takes up over half your percent lol

Just set it to equal distributions....

Changing the weighted values of each just makes too much sense.

20k ctp > 100k EM
Even if someone did all the ctp for a lvl 7 base. It is a laughably small percentage of total contributions

Hmm think I read something wrong. +1 to what tree just said.

I thought the weight was different, but apparently not, so yes it's a good idea to have it changed.

Some legions want some one with a mass % for RP reasons . but if we had % options like % NRG % tech ans so on then yes. As long as the overall % EM included stays I'm in support of more options.

I donot at ALL think we should make EM less valuable for %. Add new % pay out choices.

custom weight +1
been suggested so many times....

This works perfectly when it does, but unfortunately it only works for big/famous legions... the smaller ones.... we can't enforce stuff like this or it will kill our legion faster than anything else = =;

It makes up 2/3 of my total contribution not including my 35k cp but Lotus isn't my issue, I'm not there my home legion is as per my signature TU! and there are contributors that have donated masses of em that are way above my contribution with em only. Our base is set to = so it doesnt affect me but em isnt the same as energy
