I was talking to Gallin earlier and he had an idea about an extractor that could remove a planet upgrade. Ie make a 20x C gaia into a 18x VM terra. Returning the gaia seed to your cargo.
This would be useful for those who screwed up their rifts and/or gaias/crystals/oceanics/sentients/irradiated
Potential problems include the game not recording what the planet was prior to the transformation. So if say you have a 16x M oceanic was is a 15x VL barren or 14x L icy would not be distinguishable. Rifts would be troublesome as well since it automatically upgrades the size to MC. The extra spaces used by the planet.
Potential solutions are that is does not work on certain types, such as oceanics, rifts auto down grade to a VM metallic. Or if the game does track the previous planet type/size it simple reverts back to that. The previous bug with building excess structure on a planet already provides a fix, where the extra structure do not provide any bonus.
The number of these extractors would of course be up to Dan, but 3x, 5x, 15x and 20x are possibilities.
This would encourage people to buy the QSEs and get their rifts earlier and make mistakes then go back and fix them...meaning more money for Dan.

Gaia yes Plasma yes Demon yes Irradiated yes Crystal yes Oceanic troublesome Rift no. If you spend $50 bucks on a planet and you screw it up, you should have to live with your error.

They are repeatable...I would rather avoid people screwing up a second chance on one of these planets. I rather not have it be applicable to these. As for Rifts the point is that you get a second chance, similar to being abandon and take a new planet. You just paid the GP before...

How many of these can you obtain in total? Or it's unlimited?
