 Rebalance of Allovore Entities

Change them to elite enemies that can be legion shared. Right now whenever you get one its a plain menace because 'Matched' Gives them somewhere between double to triple your current attack and defense. Coupled with 'Allovoric Corrosion' They're just plain annoying to encounter. No fun at all.

Even with a full rack of my best weapons and artifacts I was hitting

50? against something with 14400 HP? Talk about PURE energy drain. I had two of these annoying things on my battle list a few days ago. TWO. I even abandoned one of my metallic planets to try and get rid of the annoying thing but that didn't work.

(I did eventually get rid of them, after being forced to buy some galaxy points for energy recharges, I should never be FORCED to buy. it should always be an option)

This needs to be removed or retweaked. 50% is WAY TOO MUCH.

use a cage if it hits you with its ability.
use debuffs on it. your pic shows that you did not. could have debuffed both its attack and def to 45% of its normal.

they are rare and meant to be an energy sucker.

and sorry if you have 1384 attack and 2084 def at rank 300 your ship needs some SERIOUS work.

it has around 2650 attack if I removed most of my auxiliaries and go max heavy null rays (8 of them)

Containment Cages and Drannik Sabotuers artifacts are rare. I only have 6 cages and 5 Drannik things.

during my romp with taking out both of them, one of them hit with his ability 10 times in a row, I'm glad they don't stack. and the rate of them hitting you twice in a row with the ability is abnormally high.

im not sure what you meant by your first line

no they arent. sounds like you need to get your arti up.

what can i say? they arent meant to be easy. they give really good drops. wish they happened more often

I only have 1403 decks (partly because I needed energy around the rank 200 mark badly and for like 30 ranks stacked all into engineers)

Removing auxiliaries like mission related artifacts, scanners, cloaks, some of my defense.

I can push it to 2650 attack with the null rays, but my scan, cloak and defense suffer. And make me a glass cannon. Which I personally hate. (Scan is under 1000, cloak under 400, defense is pitiful at only 870)

Right now I'm more balanced. 2147 attack with 1865 defense, scan is at 1156 and cloak is 300 or so

I'm gonna get my arti up sometime soon. Gonna rift my dyson sometime in the next month to try and grind even more points out of it.

considering my attacks around 1700 with buffs at rank 121 I'm pretty sure that i should be able to deal with that thing like i do with other entities. i suppose it helps to have a PVP ship but i doubt its that hard to kill them. just use debuffs on them like drannik sabs and emps. that always helps.

Agreed.These things are way too overpowered.Every time you encounter one it has at least twice your attack, 3-4 times your defense and hull.Cages are indeed a must if you use sabs or emps on them but you will need lots and lots of them.The corrosion effect should be at least removed or it should have a timer like all the other NPCs.1 week to disable it or it will go away for instance. If this thing finds you and you have a weak ship but a high level you are doomed lol.

The NPC allovore entity doesn't need balancing, your ship needs work.

If anything, these things need to be made more common. I've never even seen one, and ive got loads of Metallic planets(they only show up around metallic planets, right?), and close to 40k NPC kills.
If you can't kill them, it doesn't mean they are to strong, it means, you are to weak. Improve your ship, and use buffs and debuffs, like everyone else is saying.

No reason the rest of us should suffer because your ship is not strong enough to kill them.

And also, if theres no timer, you would not be "forced" to buy GP, you could simply wait for energy to refill. I'm assuming, of course, they dont heal.
And yes, i know, while your waiting and trying desperately to kill them, they occupy spots in the battle tab that you so sorely need for other NPC's, but on the plus side, there would be fewer NPC's to spread your energy out on.

take a look at the other entities.

They're weak as hell.


Akulan Entities, Rift Planet Entities (no idea why this is an elite, its a damn easy kill) and any others I might of missed out there

then you take a look at allovore entities.

so your saying to combat these guys effectively, I need a perfect ship, make absolutely no mistakes leveling up, along with perfect research, and over 50 - 60 cages and buffs, debuffs, just to take out ONE? Also, I'm Genetarr race. I know to use the special ability my race has. But I'm planning to switch to Taltherian when I finish the mission chain in a fortnight. What then?

I really wished I saved that image of one Allovore Entity hitting me with its abilities 25 times in a row. Using up all of my spare cages.

at the very least, I want that Allovoric Corrosion Ability retweaked. 50% is too much and its way too common.

I HATE those, I agree, they are way too powerful. the last time I had to get rid of one, it took forever to disable.

I don't see the problem with those stats (un-debuffed)
yes, it is an energy drain, cause it will drain 300-500 energy but that's that.. That's less than 10 hours worth for most ppl, nothing painful at all considering their frequency.
if it drains more than that, it's your problem, not the game's.

dark foci
crimson oblisk
ancient foci
crimson amp
shockwave parser
crux amp
recon intruder

How many of those you using? All except the last 2 should have been used. And the last 2... well... if you are having a lot of trouble, why not?

I'm rather confused what you're worried about...

Buffed (within 10 ranks of you) I outmatch that entity with ridiculous ease, although, the damage cap would probably be lower. I can then Drannik Saboteur, (Drannik Saboteur (Uses Left: 59) - I give these away quite often), (EMP Sphere, EMP Sphere (Uses Left: 138)), Dark Void Foci (Dark Void Foci (Uses Left: 19)), Disarming bomb (Disarming Bomb (Uses Left: 116)).

And that would just make it stupidly easy to kill. My ship isn't "perfect" either. Yours is just terrible.

Hull: 9066
Attack: 4608
Defense: 7109

I only have 1400 decks at rank 300, I don't even know how some of you people get 4k atk 7k defense unless you go all out and don't put any for cloak/scan etc.

I blame my 560 engineers for energy.

do tell me how I can manage to fix my terrible ship without a magical 'reset all level' button.

1500. Currently my dyson, exotic, and rift planets are churning out research points.

I can switch them around and vice versa when required, bumping it up to around 3500~

what do you need cloak/scan when you r fighting an NPC for?
ever heard of uninstall? uninstall those things, put on weapons, fight/kill the NPC, remove the weapons and put those things back after if you want.
It does NOT help you offensively nor defensively to run scan/cloak modules at all.

Actually, a higher scan increases odds of getting a critical hit. Cloak decreases odds of receiving a critical hit.

Not enough compared to plain brute force. You can't go over damage cap vs NPCs so mega scan isn't going to make a difference. Good defense will also do a significantly better job deck for deck than cloak will in minimizing damage received.
