I think we all had enough of impatient and selfish players who disable glass bases too early.

Whenever we scan a base with 50 defence and paper hull, someone disables it 30 minutes after lock before anyone else gets a chance to hit. This wastes dozens of badges and sometimes raid opportunities.

I understand base combat is different for higher up legions who disable as fast as possible to prevent defenders activating countermeasures. But for us low-middle ranked legions, we have scanned some easy kill bases that we would like to get the most silver badges paid out of the red badges paid.

Solution :

A few protocols that restrict the number of hits on the base :

Protocol 1 : Minimal Damage

Only Officers, base scanner and Leaders are allowed to attack the base more once and disable it. Members are only allowed to tap, members are not allowed to attack when the enemy base has no shields.
This protocol is set by the legion leaders/officers who scanned it and legions invited to fight the base must follow this protocol. Officers and Leaders of invited legions are only allowed to hit once.
This protocol is used to maximise members hitting the base.

Protocol 2 : Fire at will

Everyone is allowed to hit as much as they like.

That or you could you know use legion comm to tell everyone to take it easy and if they repeatedly disable a base without thinking not be lazy and kick them or some other disciplinary action.....

your problem is a lack of discipline not a fault with the game

right we have this issue in Talon Company from time to time, We generally imploy punishments such as, if you over hit on a 1 hit base, you must put all your silvers from this base and the next into the base via Exo-clamps, second time your banned from bases for a week, breaking the second one could result in a kicking.

i like the way talon thinks. something like that can keep people in order. what omi does is we set a legion announcement saying one hit rule applies.

In The Sith Lords, we are all very disciplined and it no one ever multi attacks(illegally) except the newbies who join :3
Ocassional bumps on the more stony bases are we are forced to get our higher powered members to join in disabling

Most legion has a "Glass Base" Rule.

Rule:
1) Only hit the Glass Base once until Leaders/Officers call FFA.
2) Base is FFA once ALL Spots are filled.
3) If base doesn't have all spots filled, Base will be FFA after the 2 hour timer.

Base Violations:
1) Hit the base twice, you will get a warning, one warning for every player.
2) If you hit the Glass Base twice after the warning is given, even if it was an accident you will have to pay 1-3 Charged Exo-Clamps put into the Base.

The way our legion operates.
The locker/officer/leader decrees whether it's glass or wooden.

If glass:
1 hit per member.
Locker gets two hits.
FFA after 15 slots are filled or it's beyond 2 hours on the timer.
Anyone breaking the rule the first time will get a warning.
Second time around they have to pay an exo-clamp into the base.
Multiple times, they get kicked, no hesitation.

If wooden:
FFA to everyone as long as they don't disable it before the 15 people or 2 hour timer constraints are met.
If the rules are broken then the same punishments apply as to glass bases.
