I have noticed there are traps for most offensive actions except raiding.
Maybe adding a trap called Anti-breach mines, causing a failed raid and un-able to raid target again or raid for 60 mins. 8-)

Change it to either or, and maybe.

To me the rationale behind it is that the traps to protect your ship from disable also protect from raiding since you have to be disabled to be raided.

The reason there is no trap to prevent raiding is because its not something you can prevent via the use of a trap.

If your ship is under attack, you can deploy space mines(omi/theta mines), or seed a virus into the enemy computers(krio).

Once your ship is disabled however, it becomes a fight between crewmembers aboard the now disabled ship. There isn't time for the crew to set traps during or after the battle, as they've been too busy manning the ships defenses and weapons during the fight, and taking their dead to sick bay after the fight, and getting weapons to prepare for enemy incursion.

I dont agree, i see raiding as a reward for killing a ship. Why should you have to take in a K trap, then kill the ship, and jjust when you think your done bam another trap

I was thinking of something along the same lines, actually. Instead of a timer penalty though, a trap that boobytraps your ship so that enemy raiders lose crew.

Then we can make critical raids kill half of the enemy crew and capture the other half.

Yeah both the ideas put forward are horrible. Like someone else pointed out raiding is a reward for a disable which you have to go through a decent few traps to get to in the first place. There shouldn't be any trap for raiding what so ever, the PvPers are punished enough as it is.

We have an anti raid arty, Its called a Halc.
It comes in your choice of colors . We have Pink, hot pink and baby blue. Coming soon black with a Pink trim and neon green . :P :P

I like how passive player keep suggesting more and more crap to protect them , Is it so hard to get good at the game that u need things changed in it?

I`m not a passive player lol.
My game is based heavily on PvP, i also have well over 100 kills and only 1 death. So would i call my self a passive player, NO.
Just wanted to add a bit more danger to the game, as that trap could go against me also as i am a Konqul raider, and at lvl 24 and 270 successful raids and probably one of the best stats in my lvl range!

Yes, i use to be a lvl 274, but i reset to give myself a better start to the game after learning a few things.

I will oppose a flat out raid trap
I wont oppose a trap that somehow allows the person that disabled you to raid safely while possibly hinder the others. (like those tabbers, sure there is a 2 hour rf now but still it's possible. also random alerts that are in random places etc)
