Post subject:  attack messeges

would be cool to have radio buttons for options like
1) because u attacked a legion member (if they really did, and have a scan)
2) because u attacked me (only if harmfull effects, or disable)
3) because you stole from me (only if raid, or hacking)

without those qualifiers, no message will be sent.

will add some context to why they are receiving a beating all of a sudden.

I agree, but player walls will accomplish the same & more. Dan said in another thread that he's thinking of ways to make something like this work....

maybe good for 24 hours but then expires? that way the wall info wont matter.

edit: or good untill avenged.

Love it! Thanks Dan. I don't mind the 5 energy, it's actually how a lot of games do it. (well, they use "stamina")

Side note - it seems quotes don't show on the messages. No big deal, just pointing it out.

The message only allows letters, numbers, spaces, and basic punctuation (! ? . ,)

if you use this feature on someone on the top killers list i would like to take a look at it. im too cheap to waist my energy to try it out :mrgreen:

i saw it, thanks. i would have done it myself, but im right in the middle of a rather humiliating and disappointing scan blitz. i have 378 scan... sold ALL my heavy plasma cannons, use all 5 ship points on cargo, sold 2 of my reactors, sold everything that wasn't bolted down... then went though 1 whole iteration of scan fail. used a energy cube and tried again. out of 16 scans i found 3 "ok" planets. one ice average size ex abundant artifacts, then a volcanic average size rich mine. i might go for the rich mine, bit i was expecting better. draining every drop out before i have to sell ALL and repurchase. if i get attacked my ship will just fold up like foil and my att is like water cannon mk2 :lol:

edit the 3rd is a enemy controlled gas planet owned by a high level. its not even that good for a gas, but its in that "good enough" category.

edit 2. my scan config is multiwave x3, wideband mk3, and a prejor data artifact...
