there should be some sort of storage cargo bay module in the legion when it gets to a certain level, that can be use to store artifacts for other legion members to take.
one person stores 50 quantum flux when another member need some they take them. but you can only take so many per day or week

when someone ask for some artefact and no one is online this makes it easier.

if a legion mate wants an arti ... they can just ask for it ... if no one else is online, they can send it when they do come online.

agreed. not really needed for those reasons as well as it making cargo management easier.

There are allegiance treasure chests in games like Asheron's Call. This would be a similar concept - a storage bay to give and take artifacts as we please.

it would probably have to be restricted that way someone coming to sell a planet or something can't take everything when they leave.

I suggest we amend this:

There should be a legion Artifact depot, it should be able to receive any artifacts one legion wants to send to another legion to foster inter-legion trading, we have a ton of trade-pacts which rarely get used.. I would like to be able to trade items to one of my sub legions for them to use without needing to trade to specific player, then the officers there could distribute them to the members of the other legion as they need them.

Just like all things legion base set it so that only Leaders or officers can send an artifact int he legion store to a member of their own legion or to another legion's artifact storage.
